- Definition
- Archicad EULA Part B s.1.8: "the software licensing model, used for the Subscription(s), that grants Users the right to access and use the Software or Service without requiring a local license (e.g., a software or hardware key attached to the device)." The help page adds that a cloud licence "is connected to a user's Graphisoft account, so it works only if the user has signed in."
- Counting rules
- The Contract Manager or Administrator assigns each licence to a Member on the License Management Portal; the Member uses it after signing in with a Graphisoft ID. One machine at a time, no concurrent use, no sharing of Graphisoft ID credentials (Part E s.15). Offline use is limited to 7 calendar days for Archicad, Archicad Collaborate BIMx Pro and Archicad Solo and 3 days for DDScad Electrical; BIMcloud needs a continuous connection (Part B s.5.2). Cloud licensing is supported from Archicad 26 UP5.
