- Kaspersky Next Help: "Kaspersky Next uses per-user licensing. For each user, Kaspersky Next can protect one desktop, laptop, or file server, and up to two Android, iOS, or iPadOS mobile devices." A user as a licensing unit is not the same as a user added to the Management Console.
- Counting rules
- The number of users is calculated from protected devices: the larger of (a) the total of protected desktops, laptops and file servers and (b) half the number of protected Android, iOS and iPadOS devices. Devices without an assigned owner are still protected and counted. The count is shown in the Kaspersky Next Management Console and on Kaspersky Business Hub. Kaspersky Next XDR Expert tolerates up to 5% over the purchased number of users; extra devices and accounts beyond that become restricted assets.
