- Definition
- Kaspersky Endpoint Security EULA cl.1.3: "Computer(s) means combination of hardware(s), including personal computers, laptops, workstations, personal digital assistants, "smart phones", hand-held devices, or other electronic devices, and operating system(s) (including system virtual machines) for which the Software was designed where the Software will be installed and/or used."
- Counting rules
- The customer may use the Software to protect the number of Computers specified on the License Certificate (EULA cl.2.2). Different versions, languages or media count together against that number. A "Desktop" licence may be used only on devices running a workstation operating system, including those deployed in virtual environments. Kaspersky Security Center counts devices per license key and raises Info, Warning and Critical events at 90%, 100% and 110% of the limit; automatic key distribution stops when the limit is reached.
- Floors / minimums
- No minimum quantity published in the EULA. The License Certificate states the limit on licensing units.
