Preserved user licence

- Unit
- User (preserved user whose workload is backed up)
- Definition
- Active and preserved license consumption rationale: "When you mark the user as preserved, the preserve license of the respective workload will be consumed if the workload is backed up."
- Counting rules
- Marking a backed-up user as preserved consumes one preserve licence per workload and frees the active licence. A preserved user with no backed-up workload consumes no preserve licence. For Druva-provisioned (MSP) tenants, Druva adds preserved users equal to 10% of the active user count.
