Google Workspace active user licence

- Unit
- User (Google Workspace user with at least one backup initiated)
- Definition
- Active and preserved license consumption rationale: an active Google Workspace licence is consumed when the first backup is successfully initiated for any application of that workload.
- Counting rules
- One licence per user across Gmail and Drive: if Gmail is backed up first and Drive later, only one Google Workspace active licence is consumed. Preserved users consume a preserve licence instead.
- Floors / minimums
- Buffer of 5% of licences or 100, whichever is lower; beyond it the first backup of additional users fails.
