- Definition
- Enterprise Workloads Credits: "1 Credit = 1 TB of deduplicated, compressed backup data stored in the Cloud for 1 month (1 TB-Month)".
- Counting rules
- Calculated on post-deduplication, post-compression data, not on source data size. Credits are drawn down daily from a shared pool: credits consumed per day = (deduplicated TB stored that day x 12) / 365. All workloads, backup sets and organizations draw from the same pool. Long Term Retention data consumes fewer credits; LTR data deleted within 12 months incurs an early delete fee in credits.
- Floors / minimums
- Allocation is sized by Druva Sales from source data volume, deduplication rate, change rate and retention. At least 80% of purchased credits must be consumed in the term; at most 20% carries over at renewal.
