- Definition
- Credits are the unit of compute consumption in CircleCI. They are consumed by the second at varying rates per minute depending on the machine type and resource class used for a given job. Credits also pay for active users, add-on features and network and storage use beyond plan thresholds.
- Counting rules
- Rounded up to the nearest second, then up to the nearest credit. 25,000 credits are sold for USD 15 on the Performance plan (USD 0.0006 per credit, excluding taxes).
- Floors / minimums
- Free plan: 30,000 credits per month, not carried over. Performance: 30,000 included credits expire monthly; purchased credits roll over and expire after one year. Minimum automatic refill 25,000 credits.
