- Connection license; connector licence
- Definition
- Licensing documentation: "Each license represents one unique connection per runtime, identified by its component ID." The Service Description defines a Connection as "one connection end-point to a database, application, or API for use in an integration process created within the Boomi Integration Platform."
- Counting rules
- Counted at deployment, not in the Build tab. One licence per unique connection component per runtime: the same component reused in many processes counts once; a copied connection with a new component ID counts again; two basic runtimes in one environment double the count; a runtime cluster counts once however many nodes it has. Licences are pooled by connector class (Small Business, Standard, Enterprise, Trading Partner), separately for production and test. Listed connectors (for example Web Services Server, Atom Queue, Event Streams, Boomi for SAP) do not count.
- Floors / minimums
- Integration editions include a set number: Base 2 production Standard connectors; Professional 5/5; Professional Plus 7/7; Enterprise 10/20 Standard and 1/2 Enterprise; Enterprise Plus 15/30 Standard and 2/4 Enterprise (production/test).
