- MSA Exhibit A s.2.3: the customer may install or use Bitdefender Solutions "on as many devices/endpoints as necessary, with the limitation imposed by the total number of licensed seats stated in the Order". Depending on the Solution, the licence covers physical computers, endpoints, virtual machines, Amazon EC2 instances and/or Exchange mailboxes.
- Counting rules
- A seat is used when the Bitdefender client (BEST agent) is installed on an endpoint; seats freed by uninstalling the agent and removing the endpoint from the Network inventory are reassigned automatically. Seat counts in the Order apply across all platforms, languages and media (s.2.4). Online-purchased packages include desktops and laptops plus file servers up to 30% of the seats; Linux systems are counted as servers. Some licences split seats by endpoint type (workstations, servers, physical or virtual).

- Online store: 1 to 100 devices for Small Business Security, Business Security and Business Security Premium; larger quantities through partners. No published minimum.
