Netvisor is a cloud financial management service provided by Visma Solutions Oy, covering accounting, sales and purchase invoicing, payroll, travel and expense claims, reporting and inventory. Visma’s general terms of agreement for businesses, version 3.1 of 1 February 2025, are part of the agreement under which Visma provides “the Netvisor service and/or Fivaldi service” to a client.[1] They define the Service as a financial management service using the SaaS model, which the client reaches by accepting the terms on Visma’s website or signing the agreement separately.[1] The agreement “always includes” the general terms with their appendices and the price list.[1]
Editions
The price page offers four packages: Starter, Basic, Core and Professional. They differ in what is included in the monthly price and what is charged per transaction.[2]
| Package | Positioning on the price page | Key inclusions |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | Efficient accounting at a fixed monthly price for small companies | Basic accounting, 1,000 of the most common transactions at the fixed monthly price, e-invoice address, payroll for one person, free user support |
| Basic | Smaller companies with few invoices | Basic accounting, e-invoice address, Maventa e-invoices, unlimited users; sales and purchase invoices charged per invoice |
| Core | Core functions for companies with regular sales and purchase invoices | Everything in Basic; sales and purchase invoices at the transaction fee price included in the monthly price |
| Professional | Automation plus advanced reporting and integration tools | Everything in Core, the broadest software interface, budgeting, reporting and forecasting, sales and purchase orders |
All four packages show EUR 25 per month, excluding VAT, at the default revenue selection of under EUR 100,000; the price changes with the revenue band selected.[2] Online purchase is open to companies (OY, TMI, KY, AY). Housing companies, groups and registered associations contact sales, and accounting firms order for clients through the partnership programme.[2] See Netvisor online purchase is for companies.
Add-ons priced separately include payroll (Palkat), travel and expense claims, and Netvisor Varasto by Rackbeat inventory management from EUR 70 a month.[2]
Metrics
Revenue category. The price page states that pricing is based on revenue and realised transactions (Finnish: liikevaihto ja toteutuneet tapahtumat), so the amount scales as the client’s revenue band rises.[2] The general terms add that client-specific revenue categories are reviewed annually after the financial statements are approved, and that charges change when Visma receives the new confirmed revenue. A client that does not confirm its revenue category may be reclassified from the service’s own revenue information.[1] See Pricing follows services adopted and transactions used, Revenue categories are reviewed annually and Netvisor pricing is by revenue and realised transactions.
Transaction. Transactions such as sending or receiving an e-invoice, fetching a bank statement or forwarding a payment are charged as realised, and the unit price falls at higher volumes.[2] In Basic the fee for sales and purchase invoices is EUR 2.06 per invoice; in Core these are included in the monthly price. The page explains the choice: both packages include invoicing, and Basic suits companies with few invoices because they are charged per transaction.[2] See Netvisor e-invoice transaction fee.
Users. All packages have an unlimited number of users.[2] The general terms nonetheless regulate users closely. The access right is personal and a user must be of legal age and legally competent. The client is responsible for all Users established in the service “including users created for integration purposes or similar use, as well as robotic users”.[1] See Netvisor price page: unlimited users in all packages, Netvisor access rights are personal and Integration and robotic users count as users.
Payroll person. Payroll and the travel and expense claims module are priced per person per month, excluding VAT: EUR 6.50 for 1 to 5 people, EUR 4.00 for 6 to 100, EUR 3.00 for 101 to 200 and EUR 2.30 above 200. Both are available also without Netvisor accounting.[2] See Netvisor payroll tiers.
Counting / floors
Charges and billing. Service Charges are the monthly service and user fees invoiced under the agreement plus transaction charges based on use, and the pricing is “based on services adopted and transactions used” under the valid price list.[1] The invoicing period is one calendar month, invoices are sent as e-invoices, payment is 14 days net, and the service may be closed if charges for two different periods are unpaid.[1] The invoice is issued by a company in the Visma Group acting as distributor of the Service.[1] See Netvisor is invoiced monthly, 14 days net and Netvisor invoicing through a Visma Group distributor.
Pricing information. The client must give Visma correct details for pricing, such as revenue, and report changes. Where details affecting pricing prove incorrect, Visma may charge retroactively on the correct information, and does not refund charges made on outdated details.[1] See Incorrect pricing details allow retroactive charging.
Price changes. Visma may adjust the price list and pricing model by reporting it no later than two months before the change. Cost increases caused by laws or authorities apply immediately, and a change in a third-party provider’s pricing may be passed on with at least one month’s notice. If Visma raises charges or changes the pricing model the client may terminate on the effective date with written notice at least 14 days before it.[1] See Price list changes need two months’ notice.
Term. The agreement continues until further notice and either party may terminate in writing with a three-month notice period, counted from the last day of the month of termination, with the service invoiced to the end of the notice period. Visma may terminate immediately if charges are outstanding for three calendar months, on insolvency, or on sanctions grounds.[1] The price page adds that the first month of an online purchase is EUR 0, the trial can be cancelled at any time, and after a trial the notice period is three months.[2] See Netvisor notice period is three months, Netvisor trial and notice and Netvisor first month and trial.
Virtualization & partitioning
Not applicable. The service is hosted. The client is responsible for devices, connections and software meeting the system requirements and for keeping user equipment secure.[1]
Cloud / BYOL
Not applicable. The terms grant “a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Services for the agreed contract period”, and the service may be used only for the client’s internal business operations.[1] See Netvisor licence is limited, non-transferable and revocable and Netvisor may be used for internal business operations only.
Third-party services reached through the Netvisor Store and Marketplace are governed by their providers’ own terms and privacy policies, and Visma gives no warranty for them.[1]
API. The API allows services to exchange data. Visma may modify it and may block access if the client violates the agreement or causes harm, and the client is responsible for agreements with its partners.[1] Software partners who build integrations sign a separate Agreement for using Netvisor API, which grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, terminable right to use the interface, authorises use for the customer’s own purposes and “does not authorize” reselling, re-licensing or commercialising the interface to other customers. The agreement is signed with Visma Sign and either party may end it on 90 days’ notice.[3] See Netvisor API: no resale or commercialisation and Netvisor API agreement notice period is 90 days.
Programs
The programs in this brand are the distributor invoicing model, the first-month and trial offer, and the API partner agreement. The price page also describes a campaign under which a new entrepreneur registered during the campaign year can use Netvisor for 12 months without a monthly fee, and a partner programme for accounting firms.[2]
Audits and compliance
Netvisor’s general terms contain an explicit verification right; none of the other Visma terms retrieved for this wiki contains a comparable clause. If Visma suspects that the client is acting in violation of the agreement, with access rights given as an example, the client must on request provide all necessary information to demonstrate compliance. If Visma considers the information insufficient, it may carry out an inspection at the client’s premises “to the necessary extent separately agreed no later than within fourteen (14) days” of the request. Visma may carry out the inspection itself or have a third party do it, provided that third party is not a direct competitor of the client.[1] Visma can also prevent access without hearing the client if it has good reason to suspect overload or use against the agreement.[1] See Visma may inspect the client’s premises to verify compliance and Client must provide data to demonstrate compliance.
After termination, data is returned on written request, in a commonly used electronic format, and the request must be made within 30 days or data may be permanently deleted. Visma may charge for collecting and returning the data.[1] Finnish law applies, and disputes are settled by arbitration in Finnish in Helsinki under the rules of the Arbitration Board of the Central Chamber of Commerce.[1] See Netvisor data return must be requested within 30 days and Finnish law and arbitration in Helsinki.
