DATEV’s company-side cloud offering is built around one portal, DATEV Unternehmen online. A client company reaches the applications that its tax advisor and DATEV connect to it through this portal, and each connected service has its own counting rule. The price list for companies is dated 08/2026, and prices are in euros excluding VAT.[1]
Editions
Unternehmen online is sold as Benutzerlizenz unbegrenzt at EUR 11.56 per month (08/2026). The price overview for 2025 to 2028 shows EUR 11.28 in 2025, EUR 11.56 in 2026, EUR 11.90 in 2027 and EUR 12.25 in 2028.[1][3] It is free for firms and for companies that use DATEV Mittelstand Faktura mit Rechnungswesen, which includes it.[1] A company needs it as soon as digital documents are sent to Belege online or when the company should access the applications. An access medium is required: DATEV SmartLogin (supplied free with an order of Unternehmen online for use in a company), DATEV mIDentity or DATEV SmartCard.[1] DATEV states that its SmartCards remain DATEV’s property.[1]
The footnotes list what depends on Unternehmen online. It is a prerequisite for Auftragswesen next, Belege online, Belegfreigabe online and its comfort variant, Liquiditätsmonitor online and the Mahnvorschlagdialog. The use of Stammdaten online, Bank online, Kassenbuch online, Auswertungen Rechnungswesen online, Personaldaten (to be discontinued on 2026-12-31) and Auswertungen Personalwirtschaft online is included in it.[1]
Auftragswesen next is a cloud order-management application sold as Benutzerlizenz unbegrenzt at EUR 7.00 per month. It needs a contract for Unternehmen online, one Auftragswesen next contract for the client company and one for the firm (free for the firm), an access medium and a file in Belege online, which is charged per client file.[1]
Mittelstand Faktura family. These are installed programs for invoicing and accounting in companies: Mittelstand Faktura (EUR 225.00 per year as Benutzerlizenz unbegrenzt with unlock code, Art.-Nr. 93600), Mittelstand Faktura mit Rechnungswesen compact (EUR 225.00 per year, Art.-Nr. 95600) and Mittelstand Faktura mit Rechnungswesen (Netzlizenz EUR 73.92 per month for the first, EUR 26.14 for each further; Set tier from EUR 54.60 for one user). The ITU variants (IT-Umgebung) require the DATEV Grundpaket and are sold per Netzlizenz, Einzelanwendung or Set. The Zusatzmodul Verkauf can only be used with the multi-user variants.[1] For DATEV Mittelstand Faktura (the program without Rechnungswesen) the price list notes that it can no longer be ordered, and DATEV states that it ends development, maintenance and service for the program on 2026-12-31.[1][4]

Counting / floors
Per client file. Belege online costs EUR 3.83 per client file and month; billing “ab Anlage des Bestands” (from creation of the file) starts independent of document receipt. Belegfreigabe online costs EUR 7.35 and the comfort variant EUR 25.00 per client file and month, and their billing starts at creation of the file as well. Bank data service costs EUR 1.37 per bank account and month, and taking over electronic invoices from cooperation partners costs EUR 2.10 per piece and month.[1] The firm price list of 10/2025 shows EUR 3.74 for Belege online.[2]
Flat package. The IT-Service- und Sicherheitspauschale (EUR 2.10 per client and month) bundles many cloud services, including audit-proof archiving of accounting, annual accounts, fixed-asset accounting, financial statement reports and cost accounting. Where it is used, data transmissions such as the VAT return (UStVA) fall from EUR 1.65 to EUR 0.00.[1][2]
Storage. MyDATEV Dokumentenspeichervolumen: zusätzlicher Speicherplatz: the free volume is at least 5 GB across products and grows with the monthly invoice amounts of Belege online, E-Steuern ESt and Personal, one gigabyte for each further EUR 5.00. Beyond it each additional GB costs EUR 1.05 per month.[1]
Inactive files. A one-off EUR 350.00 flat fee keeps an inactive client file in the data centre after the client’s Unternehmen online contract has ended. It needs a DATEV eG membership for the storage period and has no pro-rata refund when the membership ends early.[1]
Virtualization & partitioning
No virtualization rule is stated for the company cloud services. Several installed Faktura variants require the DATEV Grundpaket Basis, whose fee includes a software protection module for the duration of program use, and a DATEV SmartCard; with DATEV mIDentity and an internet connection, access rights and licences are retrieved directly from the DATEV data centre.[1]
Cloud / BYOL
The Besondere Bedingungen for cloud solutions require remote access, forbid passing on credentials, media and personalised hardware, and allow DATEV to block abusive accesses.[5] Clients may use the services only for their own company and for internal, non-commercial purposes in cooperation with their member, and a client’s contract with DATEV exists only through the member’s mandate and ends one year after the mandate ends.[5] Where Mittelstand Faktura is used with the DATEV data centre, further costs under Belege online may arise.[1]
Programs
End of service for Mittelstand Faktura. DATEV recommends moving to Auftragswesen next, which is chargeable together with Unternehmen online and Belege online. In a price example based on the January 2026 list, DATEV shows EUR 18.75 per month (EUR 225.00 per year) for the unlock-code version of Mittelstand Faktura, EUR 23.15 per month for the ITU version including the PC Grundpaket and EUR 36.42 with Zusatzmodul Verkauf, against EUR 22.39 per month for Unternehmen online including Belege online and Auftragswesen next. Users who move during 2026 from the unlock-code version start paying for Auftragswesen next in January 2027, because the year has been invoiced; ITU users start the month after the change.[4]
MyDATEV free document storage volume and Pauschale inaktives Unternehmen online Mandat are described above. Annual 3 percent price increase applies to these cloud prices from 2027 according to the price list.[1]
Audits and compliance
For cloud services the customer declares its intended scope before use and answers DATEV’s information requests, and the contractual penalty of EUR 10,000 per culpable breach of the use limits applies to clients as well.[5] A SAM practitioner’s checks are concrete: which client files exist in Belege online (billing starts at creation), whether companies that no longer use the portal still hold inactive files, whether the SmartCard and access media inventory matches active users, and which Faktura installations remain after 2026-12-31.
