- Only endpoints with active and long-lived agents require credits; inactive endpoints do not. An endpoint is long-lived if more than seven days separate its first and latest agent status reports, and it is counted even when it did not report in the last hour. Removing inactive endpoints from Endpoint Inventory, manually or automatically, excludes them. (vendor page undated; as published on 2026-09-30)
