- MSA §1.7 defines Endpoints as physical or virtual computing devices and/or computing environments, such as containers, that can process data. Virtual machines, VDI instances and containers running the agent are therefore counted like physical devices; the retrieved terms publish no host-, core- or hypervisor-based alternative.
