- Definition
- GitHub Actions billing: "Minutes are calculated based on the total processing time used by each runner type during the month." Actions runner pricing: "GitHub rounds the minutes and partial minutes each job uses up to the nearest whole minute."
- Counting rules
- Minutes on GitHub-hosted runners in private repositories are counted per job, rounded up, and charged to the repository owner, not the person who triggered the run. Standard runners are free in public repositories and for GitHub Pages and Dependabot; self-hosted runners are free. Larger runners are always charged. Each runner type has its own per-minute rate and billing SKU (for example actions_linux USD 0.006, actions_windows USD 0.010, actions_macos USD 0.062). Included minutes reset each billing cycle; Copilot code review also consumes minutes on private repositories.
- Floors / minimums
- Included per month: GitHub Free 2,000; Pro 3,000; Free for organizations 2,000; Team 3,000; Enterprise Cloud 50,000 (standard runners only).
