- Service Contract Activation and Grace Period Policy: hardware-attached Service Contracts receive a 90-day grace period, or 60 days when shipped to the United States or Canada; if not registered by then, the contract starts automatically. The grace period runs from shipment or contract-number generation. Enterprise Agreement orders, renewals with specified start dates and perpetual licences are excluded.
