- AWS Service Terms Section 5.7 (Last Updated 2026-09-15): unless the Microsoft agreement specifies otherwise, participation in the BYOL Program requires using Dedicated Instances or Dedicated Hosts and launching from VMs sourced from software binaries provided by the customer. The customer is solely responsible for obtaining licenses and complying with Microsoft requirements, including the Product Terms, and agrees to Microsoft's EULA.
