- To run RHEL or SUSE Linux on Dedicated Hosts, customers must bring their own AMIs; AWS-provided and AWS Marketplace RHEL and SUSE AMIs cannot be used on Dedicated Hosts, except on hosts allocated for high memory instances (u-6tb1 to u-24tb1 metal).
