- Grant of Rights: a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable and royalty-free limited license under Meta’s intellectual property or other rights owned by Meta embodied in the Llama Materials to use, reproduce, distribute, copy, create derivative works of, and make modifications to the Llama Materials (Section 1.a).
- Commercial rules
- Royalty-free. Monthly active user threshold (Section 2): greater than 700 million in the preceding calendar month requires a license from Meta. Same redistribution terms as Llama 3.1 (“Built with Llama”, “Llama” name prefix, Notice file). Acceptable Use Policy withholds Section 1(a) rights for Llama 4 multimodal models from EU-domiciled individuals and EU-headquartered companies (end users of products excepted). Governing law: California (Section 7).
