- Subscription Agreement s.6.6: at the end of each three-month Quarter GitLab generates a Quarterly Add-On Report of Add-On Users and invoices them prorated for the rest of the Subscription Term.
- Commercial rules
- Add-On Users are not invoiced for the Quarter in which they were added; reports run only for the first three Quarters. Add-On Users are invoiced at the List Price in the latest Order Form unless a lower Effective Price is agreed. Notification on the reconciliation date (GitLab.com) or six days later (Self-Managed); the subscription is updated and invoiced seven days after the email.

- Direct purchases with a 12-month term; default for new and renewing subscriptions after 2021-08-01. Excludes reseller and marketplace purchases, multi-year terms, purchase orders, Enterprise Agile Planning, public sector and offline license files (Billing for seat overages).
