- Licensing Guide: GigaVUE-FM communicates directly with the Gigamon licence portal after a token generated in the portal is registered, so entitlements can be viewed, activated, redistributed and reclaimed from GigaVUE-FM and volume-based licence usage is sent to the portal.

- Requires outbound HTTPS (port 443) to the licence server. Connected GigaVUE-FM sends SKU-level details weekly, without IP addresses, host names or credentials. Entitlement pools can be redistributed between GigaVUE-FM instances and reclaimed (for VBL and floating licences).
