- Definition
- Data Use Limits Supplement 1.1(ii): the maximum quantity of data, expressed in Terabytes (TB) or PetaBytes (PB), that may be ingested over the course of each day by the customer's cumulative total of volume based Products. The GigaVUE Licensing Guide names volume-based SKUs by this daily allowance (VBL-250T-BN-CORE is a daily volume allowance of 250 Terabytes for the CoreVUE bundle).
- Counting rules
- GigaVUE-FM tracks overall consumption across all GigaVUE V Series nodes and each licensed application; distributing the licence to individual nodes is irrelevant for Gigamon accounting purposes. Usage is evaluated against the allowance per day; the usage dashboards measure incoming traffic before it is processed by Gigamon applications. Cumulative across active base bundles of the same type.
- Floors / minimums
- The allowance is whatever the quote specifies (SKUs shown in the Licensing Guide: 50T, 250T, 2500T, 25KT). Monthly service period; a base bundle is required for any add-on.
