- Global Software License Terms §B: "Licenses provided under these Software License Terms may be perpetual or if the license is provided as part of a subscription, the license grant will be limited to the duration specified on the order or subscription Documentation."

- Upgrades require a valid licence to the original Software and payment of the applicable fee (§I). Perpetual and subscription licences may not be mixed in the same System (SLS §E, §F).
