- Customer provides installation files; RDS installs cumulative updates. Requires a valid SQL Server license with Software Assurance and License Mobility rights, and a License Mobility Verification Form submitted to Microsoft (Service Terms 10.5.2). Customer still pays infrastructure and Windows OS license fees. Supported editions: Enterprise, Standard, Developer (non-production only).
