- License Usage Terms: "OT Satellite" means an Endpoint selected by Customer to monitor OT Devices that are present in the same network segment as the Endpoint, e.g., subnet or virtual LAN (VLAN). An "OT Device" is a device used in an industrial environment that can monitor or control physical processes or machinery, such as PLCs or HMIs.
- Counting rules
- Each OT Satellite may monitor no more than 250 OT Devices (Solutions & Bundles). OT devices ingested by Tanium Endpoint Management for Operational Technology do not count against endpoint licensing totals; the satellite itself runs the Tanium Client.
- Floors / minimums
- Cap of 250 OT Devices per OT Satellite.
