- Counting rules
- Physical: one Subscription per 1-2 Sockets on the same Physical Server, Stackable for more Sockets; cannot be split across Physical Servers. Virtual: up to 2 VMs per Subscription on the same host, environment, Private Cloud account or Public Cloud zone. At any point in time either Physical or Virtual, not both; may not be used as a Virtualization Host (Appendix A §4-§5).

- Stackable. Odd Socket counts round up (three Sockets need two Subscriptions, Exhibit 1 "Stackable"). Arm AArch64: applies to Physical Servers with 16 or more Cores; maximum 144 Cores per Socket Pair (Appendix A §10).
