- Solution Specific Terms: "Floating (Concurrent) License: can be activated for multiple Users, service accounts and machine combinations including virtual machines and containerized environments." The number of running instances or of Users with simultaneous access may not exceed the number of floating seats licensed.
- Counting rules
- Count the peak number of concurrent running instances or simultaneous users. The SLM administrator assigns a pool of users, which may exceed the number of seats; one person running the product on several computers at once consumes several seats. Required for virtual machines, Docker, headless use, service accounts and CI/CD. In a private network one computer is the designated licence server (On-Premise License Server).
