Fixed User license (SLM); Fixed license
Definition
Solution Specific Terms, Licensed Software: "Fixed (Named) License: is single instance, meaning it can be activated by only one User, with a unique username and password, on a single computer, computing device and has a fixed license key." A separate licence is required for each User and may not be shared.
Counting rules
One licence per named User. In SmartBear License Management (SLM) the administrator assigns one seat per person and the number of users cannot exceed the number of seats; a person cannot consume multiple seats. Reassignment is allowed only for a permanent transfer when the User leaves the customer, on written notice, and SLM limits it to one revoke/reassignment per seat (transferable between seats of the same licence) and no more reassignments in 365 days than the licence has seats. Fixed User licences may not be used on virtual machines, Docker containers, for automation or CI/CD.
