- FactoryTalk Activation Manager glossary: "A type of activation that allows multiple computers across a network to use Rockwell Software products at the same time. Concurrent activations include floating activations and borrowed activations."
- Counting rules
- An activation server holds a fixed pool (the count in the activation file INCREMENT line). Software checks an activation out at start-up and returns it at shutdown. Borrowed activations stay checked out until the borrow term expires. Node-locked activations for the same product are aggregated into the concurrent total shown in FactoryTalk Activation Manager.
