- Platform Capacity Unit
- Definition
- Platform Tiers page: "A standard unit of licensed Platform capacity." For Redis Database, one Platform Capacity Unit equals 25 GB of memory and 25,000 ops/sec of throughput; for Redis Flex, 25 GB of memory (DRAM + SSD).
- Counting rules
- Each Platform licence is designated for a Licensed Project on the Order Form; the customer documents which environments, clusters and databases fall under it. Enabling High Availability requires 2x the base capacity for replicas; Active-Active needs additional capacity proportional to the number of regions. Enhanced Query Engine throughput is scaled per Platform Capacity Unit.
- Floors / minimums
- No minimum published. Reallocation of quantities among projects only if the Order Form allows it or Redis approves.
