- Qualys Units (QLU) FAQ: "A Qualys Unit (QLU) or QFlex represents your subscription investment across Qualys products. Instead of purchasing separate licenses for each product, you subscribe to a pool of QLU units and allocate them to different Qualys applications as your needs evolve."
- Counting rules
- A QFlex customer buys a pool of QLUs and allocates them to products. Each product converts its own counted assets into QLUs with the QLU-to-asset ratio in the subscription agreement (Introduction to QFlex; Asset Definition and QLU Calculation). Allocations can be changed once every 90 days (QLU FAQ; QLU Management). Additional QLUs are bought through the Technical Account Manager and are available for allocation immediately (QLU FAQ).
- Floors / minimums
- No published minimum pool size. Ratios shown in Qualys documentation examples are illustrative; the binding ratio is the one in the customer's subscription agreement. TotalCloud documentation lists minimum QLUs per resource (for example 1 per VM with Cloud Agent, 8 per 100 serverless functions for CSPM).
