- Definition
- Asset Definition and QLU Calculation (VMDR): "QLU usage for Vulnerability Management, Detection & Response (VMDR) is based on the total number of unique assets assessed by VMDR during the subscription term."
- Counting rules
- Usage = (A + B - C) x QLU ratio, where A is all-time on-premises agents (A1, counted once per Agent ID regardless of current status) plus scanner-discovered assets not already counted (A2); B is cloud assets found through AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and Alibaba integrations, counted once per instance ID and included even if terminated during the term; C is ghost assets (no open ports, no reported vulnerabilities). Measured in 15-day intervals at the highest value. An asset scanned by both a Scanner Appliance and a Cloud Agent counts once when it can be correlated; devices with multiple IP addresses may count separately. Inactive, terminated or unused assets are excluded only when purge rules are enabled.
