- Definition
- Software License Descriptions: a particular individual as the User who is given network or server credentials to access and use the Software and who must login and authenticate in order to use the Software. Named Users expressly exclude Anonymous Users.
- Counting rules
- A fee is payable for each separate Named User who logs in or authenticates. A licence may be reassigned only by permanently terminating the first Named User's use, for example when that person leaves. Posit Connect is licensed on a Named User basis up to the number in the subscription; Workbench on Named Users and Servers.
- Floors / minimums
- No minimum published in the Software License Descriptions. Tier capacities on the pricing page: Basic up to 10 developers and 50 viewers; Enhanced up to 100 developers and 500 viewers; Advanced as many as needed.
