- Definition
- Usage-based pricing definitions: "A GB Ingested is a measurement of the volume of metrics, events, logs, traces, or other telemetry data sent to or generated by the Products for the benefit of the Customer, including from the Software, the Customer Properties, or Third-Party Services." A GB is 1 billion bytes.
- Counting rules
- Billable data is the data stored after New Relic applies trimming and transformation rules, not the raw volume sent. Feature data (basic alerting events such as NrAiIncident, aggregated and dimensional metric data, golden metrics, synthetic checks, usage and administration events) does not count. Monthly GB Ingested is rounded up to the next whole GB. Telemetry from preview or pre-release software counts. The unit may carry a data region (for example EU).
- Floors / minimums
- 100 GB Ingested per month free on every edition. On the Free edition, ingest stops when the 100 GB is exceeded until the organization upgrades or the next month starts.
