- Definition
- A legacy metric under which the licence specifies the number of CPUs a NetScaler VPX is entitled to; VPX checks out a licence for each virtual CPU running on it. vCPU licences are no longer available for purchase.
- Counting rules
- A VPX checks out licences for the number of CPUs running in the system and does not consider idle CPUs. A change in the number of virtual CPUs or in the edition requires shutting the instance down before the new request. A CPX checks out n licences when running with n cores (1 to 16, set by CPX_CORES).
- Floors / minimums
- None published; CPX supports 1 to 16 cores.
