- Counting rules
- Billed in full each billing period regardless of use. Measured per performance service level instance (HA pair) for unified and block-optimized storage, per AFX cluster for AFX, per order for object and Cloud Volumes ONTAP. Capacity is in powers of 1024. Increases are allowed in set increments except in the last 90 days unless renewing; cloud committed capacity cannot be reduced.

- Minimums per PSLI: 50 TiB (Extreme, Premium), 100 TiB (Standard, Value) for unified storage; 200 TiB per AFX cluster; 200 or 500 TiB per object order; 4 TiB per Cloud Volumes ONTAP order.
