- OpManager FAQ: "OpManager is licensed based on the number of monitored devices." The licensing page lists routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless LAN controllers, servers, VMs, printers, storage devices "and everything that has an IP and is connected to the network".
- Counting rules
- All components of a device (interfaces, ports, disks, performance metrics) are included in the device licence. Every virtual instance is a separate device. IPMI devices are licensed separately and wireless access points are licensed as Access Points. Devices can be unmanaged to stay within the pack.
- Floors / minimums
- Sold in device packs; the licensing page gives 50 devices as its example. Upgrades between packs are charged at the price difference.
