- Device (the plans page also says "devices / endpoints") is the unit LICENSEWARE uses to size and price the Pay as you go, Chill and Core plans: Pay as you go at USD 1 per device for a one-off analysis, Chill at USD 150 per month for up to 1,000 devices, and Core at USD 3.36 per device per year above 1,000 devices (Plans page). LICENSEWARE does not publish a definition of what counts as a device.
- Counting rules
- Chill is a flat monthly price with "no per-device metering under 1,000 devices" (Chill plan page). Core is "One annual per-device subscription" for estates over 1,000 devices (Core plan page). Pay as you go charges "per device, database or instance analyzed; volume discounts apply" (PAYG plan page) and is billed on the volume of data analysed (Contracts and payments). For subscriptions, the count is "Determined based on the number of relevant assets based on the product scope" (Contracts and payments).
