- CPDS 39.2: "Informatica Processing Unit (IPU) is a unit of capacity that can be used across eligible Cloud Services." IDMC Administrator documentation: "An Informatica processing unit (IPU) is a unit of credit used to pre-pay for using IDMC scalars such as Compute Units and Events Processed."
- Counting rules
- Intelligent Data Management Cloud is subscribed per IPU. Each eligible Cloud Service consumes IPUs at its published IPU Per Metric Unit rate applied to its scalar (Compute Units, Rows Processed, Data Volume, API Calls, Events Processed, Daily Assets Stored and others), tiered by volume within the billing period. IPUs apply only to Cloud Services in the IDMC matrix, aggregated across all Orgs and Sub-orgs. All scalars and IPU consumption are measured monthly. IPU subscriptions: entitlement per monthly period, no carry-over. Flex IPU: entitlement per annual period, no carry-over.
