- CPDS 39.2: "Compute Units measure the general utilization of processing capacity used or consumed by each respective service as executed by Customer using one of the multiple different underlying engines." Inputs can include processing power, transformational capabilities, number of physical CPU-cores or Logical CPU-cores assigned to a job, Nodes, outbound API calls and operating duration.
- Counting rules
- Metric: Per Hour. Where a Secure Agent runs with hyperthreading, each Hyper-Thread is a Logical CPU-core. If a job in one Cloud Service uses components of another eligible Cloud Service, its Compute Units are calculated at the highest applicable consumption rate. Example rate: Data Integration 0.16 IPU per hour for the first 2,000 hours, 0.025 above 2,000 hours.
- Floors / minimums
- A minimum of four (4) CPU-cores or Logical CPU-cores is used to calculate Compute Units.
