- Definition
- ElevenLabs credits are the shared unit of subscription usage; they were previously called characters. The number consumed depends on the plan, whether generation is through the website or API, the product and the model (Billing documentation, "What are credits?").
- Counting rules
- All products on a subscription draw from one shared monthly credit pool. Approximate costs: Text to Speech 1 credit per character, Speech to Text 330 per minute, Eleven Music 900 per minute, Sound Effects 200 per generation, Voice Changer and Voice Isolator 1,000 per minute, Dubbing 2,000 to 10,000 per minute. Credits reset each billing cycle; up to two months of unused credits roll over on paid plans; Prepaid (Pay As You Go) Credits expire after twelve months.
- Floors / minimums
- Monthly allowances of 10,000 (Free) to 6,000,000 (Business); the number of credits usable at once is limited to twice the monthly quota.
