- Counting rules
- Each unique metric name is counted once per month, in the hour it first submits indexed datapoints. Every billed metric name includes 10 million indexed datapoints; datapoints above that accumulate in one monthly overage bucket. Ingested datapoints above five times indexed volume are billed separately. Tiered marginal rates; month-to-month is 20% and on-demand 40% above the annual baseline.
