  • Software lifecycle phases (to 2027-01-14). NI software has three lifecycle phases, Mainstream Support, Extended Support and Beyond End of Support, with technical support, updates and purchase availability narrowing at each phase. [1]
  • Software lifecycle phases (effective 2027-01-15). From 2027-01-15 NI moves to three phases named Active, Limited Support and End of Life; security updates in Limited Support are given as five years after release, then possible with a long-term service agreement. [1]
