  • End-of-Life (EOL) policy. GFI stops support and maintenance of previous on-premise software versions 12 months after the latest major release, or after an independent, pre-announced period; SaaS products have no EOL because each release replaces the previous one. [1]
  • End-of-Product-Life (EOPL). The date from which an entire on-premise product is discontinued; GFI states that commercially reasonable efforts are made to give at least 12 months notice. [1]
  • End-of-Engineering (EOE). The date from which a product no longer receives major or minor releases or defect fixes, while latest versions remain available and Customer Support continues to respond to issues. [1]
