- B&R lifecycle. Every B&R product goes through four consecutive phases (Active, Classic, Limited, Obsolete); software is maintained from the start of Active to the end of Classic, and downloads are generally available in Active and Classic. [1]
Automation Studio 9 versions
Phases are Active, Classic, Limited, Obsolete. For version line 6 the lifecycle applies to the major version with updates as new minor versions; for version line 4 it applies to minor versions. The vendor shows the current phase of each product to logged-in customers only, so no phase dates are listed here. Dates are the download-page dates of the builds.
