- Spiceworks announcement (2021-05-18): Spiceworks stopped improving Desktop after version 7.5 in 2018; the Desktop 7.5 app became unavailable for download at the end of June 2021 and reached end of life at the end of 2021, after which Spiceworks no longer maintains or supports it, including security vulnerabilities.
