- SAM licensing model: each component monitor consumes one licence and AppInsight applications consume flat rates (for example 50 per SQL database instance); if the licence limit is exceeded, component monitors beyond it are not activated and show as Not Licensed. Disabling monitors inside AppInsight applications does not reclaim licences.
