- SCSA §3.1.5 (Rev. April 2026): a Device is any physical or virtual environment, node, server, computer or other computing equipment that runs, accesses or utilizes the Software. Virtual machines are therefore counted as Devices in the same way as physical computers; the SCSA publishes no host-level alternative.
