- SCSA §3.3 (Rev. April 2026): copies are allowed for internal archival backup, and for installation within the organisation only where licences for those copies were purchased; copying a Software image needs prior written consent plus the required licences. After an upgrade the prior version may not be transferred to another user (§3.3.3).
