- SteelHead Central Controller User Guide: the Riverbed Licensing Portal needs a unique product identifier, which can be a serial number, license request key (activation code), customer key or token, and shows licence information for all products tied to it; air-gapped products use challenge-response. Licensing Home: a license request key is the same as the activation code and is generated from an available token. Up to 1000 tokens can be redeemed in bulk. (Support documentation, undated)
