- PyPI Terms of Service (effective 2025-02-25), section 3.5 "Contributions Under Other Licenses": whenever a user adds Content with a specified licence, the Content is licensed under the same terms ("inbound=outbound"). The PSF licence covers CPython only; each package downloaded from PyPI carries whatever licence its uploader specified, and those licences (permissive, copyleft or proprietary) must be tracked separately.
